Review:

This is an adult book based on one of the characters in the YA King series by the author. Rafe was a character I always loved and I was happy to read about what he’s been up to since graduating high school.

The book begins in New Orleans and the author takes you on a mini-tour of this fabulous city. And he is all grown up…as in yummy book boyfriend material. But that is just part of the story…there is a mystery to be solved and plenty of action. And some surprising appearances by some other characters from King. You will be shocked at what happens.  But you have to read it because I won’t spoil it for you. This is one of those books that has you on the edge of your seat the whole way through…and then just when you think you  know what is going to happen, bam…it changes.

If you like paranormal stories with a hot guy and a plot twists that will have you flipping the pages to get to the next, go get this! And now I am craving beignets….sigh.

This is a fabulous book and I cannot wait to see what happens next!
