It is an endearing story of three friends and their plan to find out the secret Valentine. The story is narrated in pictures like comic strips. The illustrations are colorful and lively. It gives a personality to all the characters in the story and breathes life into the scenes. It is a good bedtime story for children. The Truffles recipe in the children’s book uses just three ingredients, so to keep the theme going of easy recipes, the author would like to share a three ingredient recipe for cookies!
The Easiest Butter Cookies Recipe Ever!
Ingredients:
  • 2 sticks of butter (1 cup)
  • ½ cup of powdered sugar (If you use regular sugar, the cookie will still be good, but not as smooth)
  • 2 cups of flour
Directions:Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy in a large bowl.

Add flour and continue to mix until mixture forms a soft dough (it will be crumbly at first, but keep mixing and it will form a dough).
Using a small cookie scoop dough into round balls and flatten with the back of the spoon or you can use a fork to press it down. You can also flatten the cookie dough with the bottom of a glass dipped in regular/granulated sugar.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until cookies are pale golden brown. Let cool on baking sheets. Makes about 12 cookies.

Enjoy!
