She went Indie in 2011. It seems many people did. On goodreads I saw books like hers, started to add and read, and fell in love with indie books. I started looking at authors sites, and found out about Utopya, and then stumbled upon Indie book fest in Orlando last year. As we live in Florida, it was a no-brainer. I so enjoyed meeting the authors, including you! and finding new books to read. I will do my part to tell people about ya’ll and the indie book fest. 🙂 love you!

It was around 10 years ago, and it was a spy novel set in Virginia Beach. And it was not good … I avoided indies for a few years after that, until I realized that some WERE good (and not ever traditionally published one was good, either).
